HOURNOON'S TERMS OF SERVICE
✧ LAST UPDATE: 8/4/17 ✧
When you commission hournoon, you are agreeing to these terms of service.
Please read through the entirety of the tos before requesting a quote for a commission.
The artist works best when given basic ideas and prompts and is allowed artistic freedom in the piece. Subject matter can be discussed, but the artist has the right to decline any material they do not feel comfortable drawing.
Commissions are to be ordered through the commission form. These orders are requests/inquiries, and not set to be completed commissions until a paypal invoice has been sent and paid by the commissioner.
Payments are made through Paypal invoice, through USD only. Payment is required before beginning the commission. The invoice must be paid before a 48 hour period or be cancelled. Payment plans can be discussed over email (down payments, tips, etc).
Given commission prices are subject to change with additional characters, complexities, backgrounds, or subject material the artist is not regularly used to drawing.
Communication and questions during the commissioning process are encouraged! In order to receive a satisfactory image, the client must be responsive or a commission could be delayed/cancelled. Progress reports and WIP images can be requested, as well as alterations in the art's sketch state.
Hiatuses/delays in work will be notified both through social media and to commissioners.
The artist works independently on commissions, so the factors of mental and physical health may come into play with delaying art, as well as work outside of commissions and offline happenings. This makes time sensitive inquiries / deadline - based commissions something the artist often doesn't accept. This may be discussed through email, however.
The commissioner may request a cancellation, and be refunded based on the amount of work that has been completed. The artist has the right to cancel a commission for any reason.
USAGE OF WORK
The commissioner is free to post finished artwork, with required credit given to the artist. All rights are reserved to the artist, and no one other than the artist can claim the finished piece as their own. Commissioned artwork is for personal use only, no commercial profit or reselling of the artwork is allowed. The artist has the right to post the commission on any platforms they wish, though the commissioner themselves can request to remain anonymous or unposted. The artist does not offer PSD/SAI. files of artwork, or artwork without their watermark.
